Outrageous

This refers to BJP leader Sushma Swaraj’s allegation that the bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad were a conspiracy to divert attention from the cash-for-votes scandal. The evil forces behind the blasts will get a boost from such wild allegations. If political leaders are really concerned about combating terrorism, they should rise above the blame game and focus on rooting out the menace. Absolute unity against a common enemy is the urgent need of the hour.

Ms Swaraj’s allegation is outrageous. By making such comments, she and people like her only help our enemies inside and outside India and encourage terrorists to strike time and again. She should apologise to the nation for causing disrespect to the people.

Jacob Chakko,

Bangalore

The bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad were shocking and grossly shameful. More shameful is the manner in which Ms Swaraj has reacted to them. Are people like her going to be the role models for our future generations?

Vani Venkat,

Lucknow
