Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer, in his article “Democracy drugged, debauched and depraved” (July 28), has most strikingly described the unruly proceedings in the Lok Sabha, convened by the Prime Minister to seek a trust vote. The pandemonium and anarchy which prevailed during the two days’ proceedings left a very bad impression about the functioning of our parliamentary democracy.
