Big win for St. Joseph’s
BANGALORE: St. Joseph’s Indian High School defeated St. Germain’s High School 5-0 in the Anglo-Indian Association inter-school hockey tournament for the Allan Macbride Trophy (U-12) at the St. John’s High School, Frazer Town, ground here on Tuesday.
Mohammed Raheel (4th, 14th, 24th & 27th) notched up four goals and T.S. Shadhab (30th) pitched in with one goal.
In the second fixture of the day, Frank Anthony Public School beat Cathedral School 1-0 with Kevin Karani (31st) scoring the winning goal.
In the Tanvi Rao memorial tournament for girls, Bishop Cottons ‘A’ beat St. Euphrasia’s 1-0. Arushi Abraham (45th) scored the match winner.
