Coinstampex from Aug. 1

Coimbatore: The Tirupur Numismatics and Philately Club will organise the ‘Coimbatore Coinstampex 2008’ from August 1 to 3 at the Kamalam Duraiswamy Hall, Ramnagar, near Gandhipuram bus stand here.

The expo will be inaugurated at 9.30 a.m.

Entry is free. Coins that were in circulation 2,500 years ago and those released in 2008, including Euro, will be displayed at the expo.

Coins and stamps will also be on sale. Every day, 1,000 students will be given three packets of stamps and coins free of cost.

KSG College of Arts and Science will organise a blood donation camp on July 30 on the college premises.
