An eighth standard student returning home from school died after falling off the footboard of the bus she was travelling in near Yousufguda check-post on Tuesday. Asrina, 12, studying in Yousufguda Government School lost balance and fell down when the driver turned the bus at a corner.

Income Tax officials seized Rs. 2.30 crore from a mobile phone dealer in the city after searching his business and residential premises on a tip-off that he was evading income tax.
