Banks to sell coir products

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Foam Mattings (India) Limited, a public sector undertaking which makes life style products, hopes to sell its products through around 1000 banks and cooperatives in Kerala.

The Kerala State government undertaking will sell attractively designed doormats, carpets and foam mattresses through these new outlets. The new outlets will come up in Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts.

The company will offer special rebates for customers. Excise Minister P. K. Gurudasan will inaugurate the scheme on Wednesday at the Ayiroorpara Farmer’s Service Cooperative bank at Pothencode.
