Hoshiarpur: Two children of a family died of suspected food poisoning on Wednesday, police said. Bikramjit Singh (6) and his sister Harshpreet Kaur (10), resident of Dehpur village, complained of nausea and stomach-ache early this morning and started vomiting, District Health Officer M.L. Puri said. The police said both were immediately shifted to a private hospital at Kathar from where they were referred to Civil Hospital here. Harshpreet died on the way whereas Bikramjit breathed his last at the Civil Hospital, Dr. Puri said. Dr Puri said it was the case of suspected food poisoning, however, post mortem would be conducted on both the bodies.
