HUBLI: Hubli-Dharwad Police Commissioner N. Shivakumar said preliminary interrogation revealed that the two persons from Mumbai, who were arrested in Hubli on Tuesday, were involved in theft and sale of cars. During interrogation, they failed to give satisfactory answers on having cellphone circuits and batteries. Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Mr. Shivakumar said “we have booked cases of vehicle theft against them and produced them before the court on Wednesday and they have been remanded to judicial custody.” The duo came to Hubli on Tuesday and hired an autorickshaw and went round the city visiting all the police stations in Hubli.
