City Union Bank Q1 net profit up 23 %

CHENNAI: City Union Bank has achieved a net profit of Rs. 26.24 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 against 21.36 crore in the corresponding period in 2006-07. Total income has risen by 46.4 per cent to Rs. 207.52 crore from Rs. 141.73 crore and the operating profit to Rs. 46.81 crore from Rs. 36.90 crore. — Corporate Reporter
