THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore won the Thiruvananthapuram district super division football league title after it defeating Travancore Titanium 2-0 in its last league match at the Chandrashekaran Nair stadium here on Wednesday. Abul Hakkim scored both the goals (7th and 83rd) for the winner. SBT won all its six matches to finish at the top with 18 points. Titanium came second with 13 points. Earlier, St. Mary’S FC defeated St. George FC 3-0 to finish third in the league with 11 points. KSEB finished fourth. St.George which lost all its matches was relegated to ‘A’ division. — Principal Correspondent
