Workshop to be inaugurated tomorrow

Kozhikode: The fourth in the series of workshops titled ‘Colamber 08,’ organised by the Social Work Department of the St. Joseph’s College, Devagiri, will be held at the College auditorium on August 2.

The workshop will discuss ‘Redefining education.’ Students from noted institutions like ‘Kanavu,’ ‘Thudi,’ and ‘Sarang,’ which promote alternative education, will attend the workshop.

N.A. Karim, noted educationist, will deliver the key note address. Papers titled ‘Primary education and rights of children,’ ‘Justice and equality in education sector,’ and ‘Alternative methods of education’ will be presented and debates organised on these issues. The one-day workshop will conclude by 4 p.m.
