ANANTAPUR: A special immunisation vaccination drive would be conducted in the district from August 1 to 31 for protection of children in the age group of 9 to 12 months against the attack of measles. According to DM&HO N. Balaramaiah the measles vaccination was stopped in the Anantapur district for the last three months due to a shortage of vaccine. However, 20,000 doses of vaccines had been sent to the district now and another 10,000 doses would reach by August 15. – Staff Reporter
