ALAPPUZHA: The District Police Office has installed a round-the-clock, toll-free child helpline (1098) to redress complaints of harassment or atrocities against children. Requesting the public to utilise the helpline and prevent cruelty to children, District Superintendent of Police C.H. Nagaraju said all schools in the district had been requested to erect banners in front of the schools to inform the students, parents and the general public. — Staff Reporter
