Four held for illegal possession of guns

ATTUR: A team of police personnel seized five country-made guns and arrested four persons for possessing them near here on Tuesday.

Acting on a tip off, the team raided the Muruvam village and found Murugesan (40), Raman (27), Thangaraj (45) and Kumar (27) possessing the

guns without valid documents. They seized the guns and arrested

the four.

Cases were registered against them.

Further investigation is on.
