CPT holds Mohd. Sporting
KOLKATA: League leader Mohammedan Sporting was held to a 1-1 draw by Calcutta Port Trust (CPT) in a premier division match of the Calcutta Football League here at the Salt Lake Stadium on Thursday.
Sporting fumbled against an overtly defensive CPT. Striker Mike Okoro scored in the 36th minute to put Sporting ahead.
Koushik Prasad scored from the penalty spot to restore parity for CPT in the 88th minute.
Despite the draw Sporting continued to lead the league table with 13 points from six matches.
Mohun Bagan is in second spot with 10 points from five matches. — Principal Correspondent
