Raju Trophy postponed

VISAKHAPATNAM: The ACA North Zone under-16 inter-district tournament for the G.S.S. Raju Trophy at Vizianagaram has been postponed due to bad weather conditions and a fresh schedule will be announced later, according to the Vizianagaram District Cricket Association.

The last two round-robin matches of the tournament during the last four days could not be held due to rain forcing the organisers to convert it into a limited overs tournament from August 1. But persistent rain forced the organisers to postpone the tournament.

Women’s meet

Meanwhile, the ACA North Zone inter-district senior women’s and under-19 tournament has been postponed due to rain and would be held here from August 5 to 10. The senior women’s tournament would be held from August 5 to 7 and the under-19 meet from August 8 to 10. — Special Correspondent
