Young Neurosurgeon Award conferred
NEW DELHI: The Congress of Neurological Surgeons and Council for State Neurosurgical Societies has conferred the Young Neurosurgeon Award-2008 on Dr. Deepak Agrawal, assistant professor in the Neurosurgery Department (JPN Apex Trauma Centre) at All-India Institute of Medical Sciences here.
The award is given for research having the most socio-economic impact worldwide in the field of neurosurgery. Dr. Agrawal has won it for adapting advanced neurosurgery techniques for use in developing countries like India.
