Nedumbassery: Communist Party of India (CPI) national general secretary A.B. Bardhan described the move to let private finance companies manage workers’ Provident Fund as ‘highly condemnable.’ He added that Reliance Capital was brought into the picture as a reward for supporting the Central government during a crisis. Talking to the reporters here on Thursday, he said that the CPI had been trying for long to prevent private players from managing PF. “Funds with the government means funds with the people. Funds with Reliance means profit for Reliance,” he said.
