Eclipse sends believers into a tizzy
The partial solar eclipse on Friday, whether it is visible or not in twin cities, surely brings out the superstitious beliefs among public in twin cities. It sends the believers into a tizzy, with they trying all sorts of methods and tricks to avoid the so called ill effects of the phenomenon.
While the eclipse, which starts after 4 p.m. in India, would be partially visible, a majority of general public, especially pregnant women would hardly, even think, about venturing out.
For some, eclipse comes as an additional holiday, as several temples, shops and even some commercial establishments likely to remain closed.
