THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Technopark, here, in association with the Infopark at Kochi will co-host the ‘Darsana Job Fair’ to be held at the Victoria College Palakkad on August 1 and 2. The job fair is being organised by Darsana, a charitable society run by the alumni of the NSS Engineering College, Palakkad. This is for the first time that such an employment initiative is being organised for the youth of Palakkad, a press note issued here said. More than 10 leading companies including HCL, Genpact, CGH Earth, Reliance BPO, Sasken, Reliance Communications, Reliance Capital, Nous Systems and HDFC Standard Life have confirmed their participation in the job fair. The first day of the fair would be for non-technical graduates / post graduates and the second, for technical graduates. The specialty of the fair is that there would be no financial obligation of any kind for both employers and the employees, the press note said. “We are happy to support a genuine initiative which is focussed at Palakkad. We hope that more such groups come forward to initiate employment in other regions, and thus initiate a movement to empower the youth in Kerala,” the press note quoted the Technopark CEO R. K. Nair as saying. Candidates can register online on www.darsanajobs.com.
