Medical camps to be held for tackling seasonal diseases

HYDERABAD: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner and Special Officer C.V.S.K. Sarma has asked his staff to conduct medical camps in all slums and other vulnerable areas to tackle seasonal diseases like gastroenteritis, malaria, dengue, viral hepatitis, etc. He has also directed them to take up anti-larval measures on a large scale to keep the outbreak of diseases under check.
Reviewing the state of affairs here on Thursday, the GHMC Commissioner said similar meetings would be held every Monday from now on. Additional Commissioner (Health & Sanitation), R. Rama Mohan Rao, also appealed to the citizens to contact the following officers for anti-larval and fogging operations in their respective areas.
