Three men held in auto-lifting cases
NEW DELHI: Three young men allegedly involved in auto-lifting cases have been arrested by the Delhi police. Eight stolen vehicles, forged registration certificates and stamp papers of various transport authorities have allegedly been seized from them.
The accused have been identified as Kanti Prasad, Rajiv Kumar and Nahar Singh, all from Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation, they purportedly disclosed that Kanti Prasad and Nahar Singh used to steal vehicles from different parts of the Capital and hand them over to Rajiv, who allegedly forged documents and sold the vehicles. According to the police, the accused were involved in 10 cases of auto-lifting.
