Taxi owners hike fare

The Vijayawada Taxi Owner’s Welfare Association stated that it had revised tariff rates in view of increase in diesel prices, apart from considerable increase in the prices of other materials like tyres and tubes, engine spare parts. The tariff will come into effect from August 1.
