Naidu flayed for opposing English

KADAPA: TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu is opposing the introduction of CBSE English medium education in government schools without realising the growing importance of English in higher education, district Congress official spokesman G. Narayana Yadav remarked on Thursday.

The Congress government established four IIITs, 10 new universities, 208 Kasturba residential schools and 120 integrated residential schools, he asserted at a press conference.

English was introduced to help students to become well-versed in the language from childhood.
