No reason why Mayawati can’t be PM: Gowda

New Delhi: Janata Dal (Secular) chief H.D. Deve Gowda said on Thursday that he was not against Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati becoming the Prime Minister.

“She is the Chief Minister of the largest State in the country. If she can rule U.P., I see no reason why she cannot administer the country,” he told reporters here. — PTI
