KOLKATA: West Bengal Governor, Gopalkrishna Gandhi, as well as Left leaders from the State condoled the passing away of Harkishen Singh Surjeet.

“With the passing away of the veteran Harkishen Singh Surjeet ends a life dedicated to the greatness of India and well-being of her people. Surjeetji will be mourned and remembered by a great plurality of fellow citizens,” Mr. Gandhi said in a statement issued from the Raj Bhavan.
