Syntel Q2 revenue up

CHENNAI: Syntel Inc., a global IT and KPO firm, has reported a 29 per cent increase in total revenue for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, to Rs. 444.60 crore from Rs. 345.70 crore in the prior-year period. The gross margin was 41.1 per cent in the second quarter, compared to 38.2 per cent in the prior-year period, says a release. — Corporate Reporter
