Seven of family killed in accident

Unfortunate end: The remains of the car near Kandi in Medak district.

Sangareddy: Seven persons belonging to a family died and three persons were injured in an accident that occurred on the National Highway 9, near Kandi on Thursday night.

The family of Mohammad Mahboob of Kukatpally was returning in a car to Hyderabad from a function here around midnight. A speeding truck hit the car killing Mahboob (50) Jahangir Bee (45), Imran (8), Kaikashan (2), Rubin (5), Adil (8).

Seven-year-old Meraj died on the way to the hospital. Aziz, Sarju and Khaja Miya are recouping in a hospital here.
