PMK flays power cut

VIRUDHUNAGAR: Pattali Makkal Katchi members staged a demonstration in front of the District Collectorate here on Thursday, opposing power cut in Tamil Nadu, .
The demonstration was led by MLA A.Tamilarasan. They shouted slogans demanding resignation of Electricity Minister and also objected to the two-hour shutdown and weekly power holiday. Many small and marginal farmers and tiny units suffered huge losses due to the unannounced power failures, the agitators said.
The PMK district secretary Murugan and other functionaries participated.
