Warrant recalled

Shankar, Inspector of Police, Sholavaram, on Friday appeared before Justice R. Regupathi in connection with a case relating to an anticipatory bail plea.

The court had earlier issued a non-bailable warrant against the Inspector.

Following his appearance, the warrant was recalled.

The Inspector said he could not come to the court on the earlier date as he had been pre-occupied with official duty, and so, he apologised.

The case has been posted for August 4.
