KHAMMAM: Medical teams were rushed to Kaikondaigudem village following outbreak of diarrhoea. At least 40 persons were hospitalised. Water contamination is suspected to the cause of the outbreak. A majority of those taken ill were discharged from the hospital late in the evening. Some were still undergoing treatment. In the meantime, high incidence of fevers was reported in Kachanapalli village of Gundala mandal in the day.
