Fill all vacancies, says employees’ association

Tuticorin: A meeting of the State executive committee of Tamil Nadu Government Co-operative Department Employees Association was held here on Saturday.

The members urged the State Government to take steps on a war footing to fill all vacancies in the department. They said that the Government should ensure reduction of workload of employees to enhance quality of work.

Review meeting of zonal officers conducted periodically should be abandoned, as the exercise was found to have been wasting precious time of officials unnecessarily.

The State president of the association, N. Elango, and the office-bearers of the district unit, A. Balakrishnan, M. Muthusamy, P. Malraj, among others, spoke.
