Seminar on job opportunities

Kakinada: Media 360, a Visakhapatnam–based media organisation conducted a seminar on career opportunities for 10th, Intermediate and degree students here on Saturday. It was sponsored by the Vizag Academy of Aviation, Flying Cats and Global Retail School. Participating as the chief guest, Additional Superintendent of Police A.V Ranganath said that the changes in economic environment brought about different kinds of opportunities for the youth to excel in various fields including aviation, tourism, hospitality and retail management. Besides, the Home Ministry was looking to fill 35,000 vacant posts in the Police Department which was also a challenging and rewarding career, he said.
M Vara Prasad, Seenia George and Prakash Sripada spoke about the employment scenario in retail sector, aviation industry and tourism and hospitality sectors respectively. Ayyappa of Media 360 proposed a vote of thanks.
