Intellectuals meet

The legal cell of Bharatiya Janata Party conducted a meeting here on Saturday with intellectuals on its ‘dharma yudha’ (holy war) against the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance Government at the Centre. The meeting, addressed among others by BJP All India Legal Cell joint convener and AP Bar Council member N. Ramachandra Rao, urged intellectuals to understand the attempts by Congress and other parties to dilute public mandate and cling on to power through dubious means.

Former Chairman of Bar Council of India D.V. Subba Rao, BJP national executive member K. Haribabu and city president P.V. Narayana Rao spoke.
