Jeweller robbed

NEW DELHI: Three young men allegedly robbed a jeweller of some gold at Paharganj here on Saturday.

According to the police, 45-year-old Musharraf Ali was alone in his jewellery shop when three men came in and threatened him for dismissing his servant Sharaful. The young men then allegedly threw acid on the jeweller and made off with about 130 gm of gold.

He was taken to a nearby hospital and discharged after first-aid.
