PUDUCHERRY: The Directorate of School Education has called for applications from boys for admission to Class VIII at the Rashtriya Indian Military College at Uttarakhand before September 30. The Directorate in a press release said the students should have passed Standard VII or should be studying in Standard VII for admission to the college on July 1, 2009. The applicants should have been born before July 1, 1996 and not after January 1, 1998. To obtain the application forms via post, the applicants should send a demand draft for Rs. 250 to be paid to The Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Drawer Branch, State Bank of India, Tel Bhavan (Bank Code-01576) and send to the following address – The Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun Cantonment – 248 003, Uttarakhand. The filled-in application forms should be submitted by September 30 to the Joint Director, Second Floor, A-Block, Perunthalaivar Kamaraj Centenary Educational Complex, Anna Nagar, Puducherry: 605 005.
