Stir postponed

PUDUCHERRY: The Confederation of Health Employees’ Associations (CHEA) has decided to postpone its protest slated for August 4 to highlight the demand for implementation of Assured Career Progression (ACP) scheme.

The association said in a release on Saturday that the decision had been taken in the wake of an assurance given by the Secretary (Health) that orders for implementation of the scheme would be issued shortly. He had also suggested that the CHEA representatives could hold talks with the director (Health) on August 4 with regard to other pending issues .
