Gujjar body thanks Sonia Gandhi

NEW DELHI: The Gujjar community in Delhi has in a letter to United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi hailed the appointment of Govind Singh Gurjar as Governor of Puducherry saying he is the first from the community to have been nominated for the high post.

In a letter, Sardar Patel Gurjar Mahasabha president Virender Kasana said the Gujjar community feels happy, honoured and obliged on the appointment.
