Cause of car fire not established
KOCHI: A scientific assistant of the police collected samples from the debris of a car which caught fire near Edayar on Saturday evening. Jojo, a businessman from Alangad, near Aluva, was charred to death inside the car.
Sources said that remnants of a plastic can were found in the debris. It was not known if the container had anything inflammable. The Binanipuram Police said the cause of the fire was yet to be established.
The body of Jojo was handed over to his relatives after a post-mortem examination. — Staff Reporter
