THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The IT@School programme of the State government has bagged the award for the best government initiative in IT-enabled learning at the recently concluded e-India 2008 conference at New Delhi. The award was handed over to Executive Director of IT@School programme Anvar Sadath by Subhash Kuntia, joint secretary at the HRD Ministry. A press note issued here said the award jury made a special mention of the VICTERS TV channel instituted by the IT@School and of the efforts taken by the programme to universalise IT-enabled education in Kerala. This is the second national award that the IT@School has bagged this year.
