Written test

A written test for selecting Grade-II police constables was conducted at four centres here on Sunday.

In all, 9,584 candidates, including 1,115 women, took the test at Yadava College, Sourashtra College, Mannar Tirumalai Naicker College and S. Vellaichamy Nadar College.

Elaborate arrangements were made for smooth conduct of the examination, police said.
