Conference on haemophilia care held
HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Chapter of Haemophilia Society conducted a one-day conference on haemophilia care in association with Owaisi Hospitals on Sunday. The chief guest, Akbaruddin Owaisi, the MLA of AIMIM, inaugurated the event and doctors from various hospitals have participated in the conference.
Mr. Owaisi appreciated the society’s role in creating awareness about the disease among the masses. He urged the government to help the haemophilia patients by distributing the factor concentrates, the blood products which play key role in treatment, through government hospitals like Karnataka, Pondicherry, Delhi and Bihar States are doing.
The society, formed with the patients, has been appealing to the government for many years to help them.
