Two killed in collision

KOCHI: Two youth died and four others were injured after three bikes collided with a jeep near Ayampuzha on Sunday evening. The Ayampuzha Police said that Afsal and Jaza, both from Perumbavoor were returning from a trip to Athirapilly when the accident took place. The injured have been admitted to the Little Flower Hospital, Angamaly.

In another incident, Vipin, 27, son of Kumaran, Edachira, got drowned in the Kadambrayar on Sunday evening.

He and three of his friends had ventured to take a bath in the waterbody, when the incident happened. The body was fished out by 7 p.m.
