BANGALORE: The city police will be diverting traffic to facilitate the works taken up by the Bangalore Development Authority on the Nagarabhavi 80 ft Road and the Service Road. The city police has banned the movement of traffic between Kalavati Kalyana Mantapa and ISCE Road Junction on Nagarabhavi 80 ft Road and between Nagarabhavi Village Road and 12th Block Road on the Service Road. Vehicles have to take a turn at the Nagarabhavi Junction and move through Jnanabharati Road, TVS Service Station, NGEF Layout and join the Ring Road. FineThe Traffic (West) division of the city police have booked 4,032 cases of traffic offences and collected fine of Rs. 4.61 lakh on Thursday last. According to a press release, the traffic police have booked 728 cases for jumping traffic signals at junctions and 296 cases for violation of one-way rule. As many as 89 cases have been booked for use of mobile phones while driving.
