TDP alleges discrimination

VIZIANAGARAM: Mandal parishad president Pinninti Prasad Babu (TDP) has alleged discrimination in the distribution of Rajiv Arogya Sri cards to BPL families in Pachipenta mandal in the district. In a press statement, Mr. Prasad said that Salur MLA P. Rajanna Dora distributed cards to Congress sympathisers even without the knowledge of sarpanches and MPTC members of Panchali, Karrivalasa, Panukuvalasa and Maathumooru villages in the mandal.

He said that the tehsildar when complained did not bother to take action. He along with former MLA R.P. Banj Dev submitted a memorandum to P.A. Sobha, DRO, at the Grievance Cell on Monday. - Correspondent.
