Job-oriented courses promised
MACHILIPATNAM: The new Krishna University will offer, to begin with, courses in marine biotechnology, port management, agro-biotechnology, pharmacy, MBA, MCA, English skill development, software skills in Telugu and Telugu journalism. Five-year integrated courses would be offered in some of these disciplines, said M. K. Durga Prasad, who assumed charge as first Vice-Chancellor of the university here on Monday. Dr. Durga Prasad, who held various positions in Acharya Nagarjuna University before being appointed as VC, was felicitated in the auditorium of Andhra Jateeya Kalasala on the occasion.
