Elected: School cabinet of D.A.V. Public School with chief guest

HYDERABAD: Songs, salsa dance and skits marked the Feast of St. Ann at St. Ann’s High School at Secunderabad on July 25. The students of primary, middle and high school presented a colourful programme at a function in the presence of school correspondent Sister Carmalita. All the sisters were felicitated with bouquets and cards.

D.A.V. Public School

Swearing-in ceremony was conducted for the School Cabinet of D.A.V. Public School, Safilguda on July 31. Elected representatives of the school were administered the oath of office by Y. Padmavathi, the vice-president of Andhra Mahila Sabha.

The sixty-member cabinet was headed by the boy captain Rohan and the girl captain Fathima Zeba. Students were given their scrolls and badges at the ceremony. Before they took up the actual responsibilities, the leaders were put through a formal training in the rudiments of leadership by professionals in a one day workshop, a press note from the school informed.

Cyber Age Pupils High School

It was also investiture time for the Cyber Age Pupils High School at Medchal. Chief guest Father Edwin formally invested the duties to the school pupils leader, girls leader, captain, vice-captain and four houses and the prefects on July 23. March past, recitations, songs, dances and mimicry followed the ceremony.
