2 dead, 1 injured in accident

NAMAKKAL: A dairy farm owner and another person were killed when the car in which they were travelling, dashed against a roadside tree near here on Monday night.The Police said Ramesh (38) of Co-operative colony, his wife Punithavathi and friend Kumaran (38) were returning home after visiting Erode when the car lost control and dashed against the tree. Ramesh died on the spot. His wife and friend sustained serious injuries and were rushed to a private hospital, where Kumaran died of the injuries. A case was registered.
