15 officials arrested in graft case

Chandigarh: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau has arrested 15 non-gazetted officers in 14 different cases last month and was able to secure the conviction of one gazetted officer in a graft case.

Disclosing this here on Tuesday, Harcharn Singh Bhullar, Joint Director (Administration) Vigilance Bureau, that the Bureau had registered trap cases, disproportionate assets cases and criminal cases and ensured that the suspect do not escape judicial punishment in the various courts in the State.
