Doctors reattach severed arm

DAVANGERE: A farmer whose arm was severed in an accident was saved by the presence of mind displayed by his daughter and the expertise of a team of doctors from City Central Hospital here. The doctors reattached his hand in an operation that lasted over four hours.

Eshwarappa was travelling in an autorickshaw when a truck brushed against the autorickshaw, severing his arm. Eshwarappa’s daughter collected the arm and packed it in ice. She rushed her father to the hospital here.
